Mary Beth Baker is both a traditional painter and a digital artist. A self-taught professional graphic designer for many years, she incorporates her desire for balance with ever-changing color, texture combinations and patterns. Her studies in French allowed her to reside in France during college, which had a profound effect on her artwork. In 2004, she was one of 24 artists chosen by The United States Mint as a coin and medal Master Designer in their first ever national search.
Mary Beth Baker has exhibited her work in several fine art shows and has received numerous awards in the Delaware Valley, including The Rittenhouse Square Fine Arts Annual in Philadelphia, and The Brandywine Arts Festival in Wilmington. Her delicate details in watercolor and acrylic reveal her love for both the floral subjects, and the art of painting.
