I have traveled many roads to become what I am today, an artist and designer. I enjoy every day of my life on this creative road. For seven years, I have worked with some of the finest Licensees in the art licensing industry. The range is broad: ceramics, children's furniture, personal bank checks, wallpaper borders, scrapbook kits, craft creatables, light switch covers, women's tissue packs (Swankie Hankies) and pet products. I currently have 10 clients within the art licensing industry. Annually, in May, I exhibit at the Surtex Trade Show in New York.
My career in Art Licensing came rather by accident. When the opportunity arrived, I happily jumped in with both feet and I have never looked back. I created the first "Art Licensing" group on the internet in 2000. It includes Artists, Illustrators, Designers, manufactures, Licensing Agents, Art Directors, Intellectual Property Attorneys, and Graphic Design Studios. All members work together to build strong relationships within the Art Licensing Community. The group, "Art of Licensing" is now listed in the Graphic Artist's Guild handbook, "Pricing and Ethical Guidelines," and at http://www.gag.org
Most people who know me are aware of my love of antique European fabrics and my search for the next exciting discovery or fabric swatch. Nothing, however, replaces my passion for spending time with my family and friends; they keep me grounded and keep life and work in perspective as I continue the passionate search for new ways to express creativity.
