Dawn Heese
Dawn Heese is a third generation quilter and avid cross stitcher. She specializes in hand appliqué and hand quilting. She authored her first book, Geese in the Rose Garden in 2009 with Kansas City Star Quilts and is currently at work on her fourth book with them. She also runs a pattern company under the name of Linen Closet Designs which produces quilt and cross stitch patterns. Dawn’s designs have a vintage, folk art feel.
She lives in Columbia Mo. and shares her home with her two teenage sons, a Great Dane and a spoiled cat. She travels to speak and teach for guilds and quilt shops nationwide.
